Unmarried persons are also sexual beings with both a need for intimacy and, often, physical sexual desires. ‘Just don’t do it’ doesn’t adequately address their struggles. A helpful response to Christian singles must differentiate between sex and intimacy and provide practical pathways to wholeness not dependent on sexual activity. This seminar will address practical Biblically-based and neurobiologically sound ways of helping unmarried Christians navigate being both single and sexual.

About: Carol Tanksley, M.D., D.Min., is an expert on the integration of wholeness for body, mind, and soul. As an author, speaker, podcaster, personal coach, licensed OB-Gyn physician, and ordained Doctor of Ministry, she brings both academic expertise and years of experience as a practitioner to helping people experience lasting transformation and wholeness as God intended.
Dr. Carol interacts daily with ministry leaders, clients, readers, podcast listeners, and a world-wide online audience through her website, and has appeared on numerous radio and TV programs. Dr. Carol was single until her 40s and is living single again since her husband’s death in 2016. She is able to speak to “single, Christian, and sexual” both from personal experience and from medical and ministry expertise and experience.
