Christian parents and leaders navigate conversations about masturbation, abortion, pornography, and gender identity in a culture that speaks loudly and often first. Drawing from 15 years of experience in sexual health education, this session equips attendees with four biblically grounded, relational tools to move beyond fear and silence. Participants will learn how to engage these topics with more clarity, compassion, and confidence, helping youth develop a faith-rooted understanding of their bodies, identity, and God’s design.

Professional Learning Objectives:

Apply biblically grounded, relational conversation tools to engage children and teens on masturbation, abortion, pornography, and gender identity with wisdom, clarity, and compassion.

Confidently disciple the next generation through difficult conversations, responding to cultural messages with truth while maintaining connection, trust, and credibility.

Shift from fear-based & rule-centered conversations to a gospel-centered approach that emphasizes identity in Christ, God’s design for the body, and ongoing spiritual formation.

Develop next-steps for continuing these conversations at home, in the classroom, or in ministry—equipping kids to think biblically and faithfully navigate a complex sexual culture.

About: Kristen Miele has been educating youth of all ages on the topic of sex for 15 years. She founded Sex Ed Reclaimed in 2022. She has a Master of Science in Community Health as well as a nationally accredited certification in Health Education. She began Sex Ed Reclaimed after returning from the overseas mission field. Currently, Sex Ed Reclaimed is selling digital curriculum in all 50 states and 13 countries. The Lord has blessed Kristen and her husband with two daughters. They live in Columbus, Ohio.
